Violent Femmes Announce Spring 2025 US Tour Highlighting First Two Albums

Violent Femmes took to Instagram on Tuesday (November 19) to announce a series of 2025 tour dates where the folk punk legends will be performing their first two albums in full. The newly announced spring dates will replicate the format of the fall tour the Femmes just completed, with a first set featuring a performance of their sophomore album Hallowed Ground, followed by a run through of their celebrated self-titled LP during the second set, and ending with a few additional fans favorites. The tour launches on March 18th in Houston, and winds down on April 3rd in Cocoa, Florida. The Femmes’ April 4th concert in Tallahassee, Florida will feature the band performing with the Tallahassee Symphony, and is not a part of their  two-album tour. “We’re happy to announce some 2025 tour dates,” the band writes. “Much like our tour from this past year, we’ll be performing our self-titled album AND ‘Hallowed Ground’ with an intermission in-between and no openers.” (Consequence of Sound)
