When the Cure released their first album in 16-years, Songs Of A Lost World, on November 1, the British band celebrated by live streaming their concert that same night from the Troxy in London. The Cure took to Instagram on Sunday (December 1) to announce the upcoming release of a live album from that performance, appropriately titled, Songs of a Live World: Troxy London MMXXIV. They are releasing standalone versions of the live album – featuring audio mixed by frontman Robert Smith – on vinyl, cassette, and CD, along with newly packaged sets which include the live show along with Songs of a Lost World. The Cure also revealed a brand new “Blood Red Moon” vinyl pressing of Songs of a Lost World that is exclusive to their webstore. Proceeds from the sales of the live album will benefit War Child UK, which supports children in areas impacted by war and conflict. (Consequence of Sound)
