Sting Releases His First New Song In Three Years Ahead Of His North American Tour

Ahead of the start of his North American tour later this month, Sting has shared a new song titled, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart).” It marks the first new music in three years from the rock legend. The track was recorded with members of the “Sting 3.0” touring band, featuring guitarist Dominic Miller, drummer Chris Maas, and organist Martin Kierszenbaum. Sting also released a music video for his new song on Thursday (September 5), featuring the band performing “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” at an outdoor festival. The North American leg of the “Sting 3.0” tour kicks off with a two-night stand in Detroit on September 17th and 18th, with live dates running through the middle of November, hitting major music markets in Toronto, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, in addition to some festivals.
