Simple Minds Announces 2025 North American Tour With Soft Cell And Modern English

On Monday, Simple Minds announced the dates and details of the North American leg of their 2025 Alive & Kicking Tour. The upcoming 24-date trek will be the Scottish art rock legends’ biggest, most extensive tour of the U.S. and Canada in over four decades. Simple Minds will be joined on their tour by synth-pop titans Soft Cell and new wave idols Modern English. The Alive & Kicking Tour kicks off on May 16 in Ridgefield, Washington, hitting up outdoor amphitheaters throughout North America before eventually finishing up on June 22 in Noblesville, Indiana. Simple Minds are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their chart-topping 1985 album, Once Upon a Time, and have released a special 9-song digital edition of the album that includes their Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash hit, “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” in the tracklist for the very first time.
