Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan recently launched The Magnificent Others podcast, which showcases a different side of the eccentric rock star through engaging conversations with a variety of guests. Corgan’s idea for a podcast gained momentum after appearing on Bill Maher’s Club Random two years ago, which eventually led to the Grammy-winning, alt-rock legend joining the comedian’s podcast family. The Magnificent Others, which debuted on February 5. features the 57-year-old musician chatting with notable figures like Gene Simmons, Tom Morello, and Sharon Osbourne, with upcoming guests including Carnie Wilson, Richie Sambora, Paul Williams, Robby Krieger, and the late Sam Moore. “I’m really not after clickbait,” Corgan says. “I want to understand something and I really don’t talk to my guests any different than I would talk to them if they were sitting at the kitchen table. I’m okay with doing the podcast as I am and really celebrating my guests in a way that feels good to me.” (People)
