Anthrax’s Frank Bello Says Their Long-Awaited New Album Will Be Released This Fall

During a new interview with American Music Supply at the recent NAMM Convention in Anaheim, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello shared some details about the long-awaited new album from the metal legends. Bello appeared at the convention to promote his new signature Spector bass guitar, and while he was there, the musician revealed Anthrax’s upcoming tour plans as well as the release schedule for their highly-anticipated new album. “We have a new Anthrax record [coming out],” Bello said. “It’s been about eight years. It’s been a while. The record’s supposed to come out September, October.” Bello then disclosed was Anthrax has planned in the new year. “If you know Anthrax, you know what we do — we stay on the road for quite a while,” he said. “There’s some very big shows being planned right now, which I can’t talk about, but I’m very psyched. So 2025 is the year.” (Consequence of Sound)
