Jane’s Addiction Members Recording Together Without Frontman Perry Farrell

Three months after an ugly onstage fight between band members brought Jane’s Addiction’s reunion tour to an abrupt end, the band is recording new music together without singer Perry Farrell. On Friday (January 3), Eric Avery shared a video on Instagram that captured a recent recording session where he was adding bass to Stephen Perkins’ drumming. “Writing some more new lines to some of Stephens drumming. Look forward to getting some Mr [Dave] Navarro on them. 2025!,” Avery teased in the caption. Perkins also went on to share Avery’s video on his own Instagram. At the time of their onstage implosion, the core four members of Jane’s Addiction were working on new music together, releasing two standalone singles, “Imminent Redemption” and “True Love,” which were released as a 12-inch single on Record Store Day Black Friday.
