Dave Navarro, Jerry Cantrell, Duff McKagan, Billy Idol Taking Part In Above Ground Benefit

Dave Navarro and Billy Morrison have announced the music lineup for their upcoming Above Ground 4 benefit concert set to take place on January 25th at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. The event will feature the two celebrated musicians joined by Billy Idol and his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Guns N’ Roses Duff McKagan, Foo Fighters’ Josh Freese, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath, and many more as they come together to perform the classic debut albums by New York Dolls and The Cars in their entirety. Additional artists set to perform at the benefit show include Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle), Elliot Easton (The Cars), Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads/Modern Lovers), and Tommy Henriksen & Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires). All proceeds from the concert will be donated to MusiCares via Above Ground, which is a registered charitable corporation “dedicated to raising funds for and awareness to the issues of mental health and suicide prevention.” (Consequence of Sound)
