Nandi Bushell Performs Foo Fighters’ “Learn To Fly” With Taylor Hawkins’ Drumsticks

In a new clip for Drumeo, teenage drumming sensation Nandi Bushell performed Foo Fighters‘ “Learn to Fly” with drumsticks that were given to her by the late Taylor Hawkins. The clip recreates Bushell’s celebrated performance of “Learn to Fly” at the tribute for Hawkins at Wembley Stadium back in 2022. In the video, Bushell shared the story of how she originally got the drumsticks, back when Hawkins gave them to her when she was only 11-years-old and she appeared onstage alongside the Foo Fighters at their Los Angeles show in 2021. “Taylor’s amazing, he’s the nicest person,” said the now 14-year-old Bushell. “He gave me these sticks, which are the sticks I performed with at Wembley. It was a bittersweet moment, because of course it’s amazing to play Wembley Stadium, but it was why I was playing there.” (Consequence of Sound
