Billy Joel And Rod Stewart Perform Faces’ Classic At Cleveland Co-Headlining Show

Billy Joel is currently touring the country performing co-headlining stadium gigs with fellow music legends like Sting and Stevie Nicks. On Friday night in Cleveland, the Piano Man was sharing the bill with Rod Stewart, and the two icons joined forces to perform a classic Faces’ song together. Stewart joined Joel and his band for a rousing rendition of Faces’ 1971 Billboard Top 20 single, “Stay With Me.” Joel’s concert in Cleveland was the 75-year-old musician’s first show in over a month, and only his second concert since he finished up his historic 10-year residency at Madison Square Garden in July. Joel’s 2024 tour continues with another co-headlining show with Sting in St. Louis on September 27, followed by a solo performance at Los Angeles’ new Intuit Dome on October 12. Rod Stewart has a few more live dates left in 2024, before he begins his final Las Vegas residency in March of 2025. (Rolling Stone)
