The Annual Turkey Trot

Chattanooga’s longest standing Thanksgiving road race returns this year for its 34th running. This historic family tradition is hosted by the Chattanooga Track Club and Fitness Central, Chattanooga’s new premier fitness club, featuring a competitive 4-mile race, a non-competitive 1-mile family walk & fun run and a Kiddie-K (6/10 of a mile).

For 34 years, the Turkey Trot was hosted at the SportsBarn East. 2024 marks the first year that the Turkey Trot is hosted at Fitness Central East (same address) instead. And although the name of the hosts has changed from SportsBarn to Fitness Central, the Turkey Trot traditions will remain the same and continue to be a staple in our community.

Sign up now and start your Thanksgiving morning with a USATF certified, competitive 4-mile race or a more leisurely (non-competitive) 1-mile family walk & fun run with your family and favorite furry four-legger. Kids (12 & under) can participate in the Kiddie-K (6/10 of a mile).

Proceeds from the morning’s events are targeted to support the Chattanooga Track Club’s year-round youth and adult running and fitness programs promoting health and fitness in our community.
